Since 1993, when I entered the clinical residency in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the Institute of Surgery named after Mikaelyan and up to the present time, I have been officially engaged in practical medicine.
The main direction and interest is aesthetic surgery. However, over the years of practice, I also specialized in: traumatology of the facial skull, facial oncology, surgery of congenital anomalies of the face and jaws, dental implantology, etc.
The main scientific and practical interest is rhinoplasty, about which my candidate and doctoral dissertations were written and defended. According to statistics, we have performed rhinoplasty most often. To date, 4,758 operations. This operation is one of the most popular in the world, and is also popular in Armenia. However, given my dual qualifications and extensive experience (for information, click here), I also perform numerous other operations.
Education: graduated from two faculties — dental and medical.
Licensed specialist: plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery.
